BE entitlement explained

Cost:

The BE trailer test package costs ISK 85,000.

This includes four practical driving lessons, preparation for the oral questions, and use of the training vehicle and trailer for the test at Frumherji.

The test process

The driving test assesses whether you have the knowledge, competence and skills required to operate the vehicle safely and receive a driving licence. The BE test consists of oral questions, manoeuvres on a closed course and a road driving test. The examiner tells you whether you have passed at the end of the test and normally explains any mistakes straight away. If you do not pass, you may take the test again after one week.
